Reilly Award Winners

The Frank K. Reilly Family Award for the Outstanding AIM Analyst is presented each semester to the analyst who makes the most significant contribution to the Applied Investment Management (AIM) course, through both the quality of their own work and their contribution to the overall course and the broader portfolio management team.  The award recipient is selected by the faculty based on their own evaluation of the analyst’s work and feedback from other AIM analysts.

The award was established by Professor Frank Reilly in 2013 to recognize the top analyst in each class. Professor Reilly, along with Professor John Affleck-Graves and Notre Dame CIO Scott Malpass, developed and founded the AIM course in the fall of 1995. Professor Reilly, who passed away in the Fall of 2021, taught the course for nearly 20 years and continued to impact the students through his participation on the AIM advisory board throughout the rest of his life. Professor Reilly dedicated the Award to his family, who always provided love and support to him in his teaching, and especially to his wife Therese, who always enjoyed getting to know the AIM students.
