Alumni
Since the inception of AIM in the fall of 1996, there have been over 500 students who have successfully completed the course. These former analysts now comprise the global AIM alumni network, and many have become leaders in their professions, especially in the financial world. Former AIM analysts have gone on to become senior professionals at some of the most respected investment firms globally including The Blackstone Group, The Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs, Maverick Capital, McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley and Viking Global. Some, have even launched their own firms, most notably in the hedge fund world. Today, many AIM alumni remain actively involved with the current AIM analysts both on trips at AIM alumni dinners and in the classroom as guest speakers during visits to campus.
One highlight of the growing AIM alumni network was the 10-Year AIM Reunion celebrated on campus in June 2005. The weekend was comprised of a series of special events including mass with Notre Dame President Father Jenkins, presentations by Jay Jordan and Richard Perry, and a speech by Lou Holtz. Through the growth and expansion of the AIM alumni network, we anticipate the 15-Year AIM Reunion, to be held during the summer of 2010, will be an even greater success.
